Ray is a certified Yoga Teacher, Pilates and Sport Yoga Instructor. He started practicing yoga over eight years ago and has been teaching it for the past six years.
Being a fitness fanatic, Ray commenced the practice of yoga just as a means of increasing his fitness levels. However, it immediately struck him that yoga is a much more than physical exercises. As a matter of fact it has continuously assisted him to become more balanced, centered and calm. The splendor of yoga is that its’ effect stays with you even when you when you are off the mat. Besides improving your physical health, toning your muscles and internal organs, yoga helps you deal more effectively with daily stresses and perceive life in a more positive way.
Ray strongly believes that yoga is a tool that helps you achieve your physical, mental and emotional well-being. It is Ray’s pleasure to share the many benefits that yoga has to offer, whatever your age, level of fitness and shape of your body. Yoga is for everyone; it has nothing to do with religion and how flexible you are. Although yoga is non-competitive, it’s a great partner to sports when applied as cross-training by athletes.
